Ingredients
Method
Make cinnamon sugar rims
- Mix the sugar and ground cinnamon on a small plate.
- Wet the rims of the flutes with apple cider, then dip them into the cinnamon sugar so the coating sticks.
Build the mimosas
- Fill each flute one third full with the chilled apple cider.
- Top each flute with chilled champagne or prosecco.
Garnish and serve
- Garnish each flute with a thin apple slice and a cinnamon stick, then serve immediately.
Notes
For the best ring adhesion, keep the apple cider and champagne/prosecco fully chilled and dip right after wetting the rim. Serve within 10–15 minutes for the brightest carbonation; refrigerate any leftover cider mixture (no champagne) up to 24 hours and add fresh champagne to serve again. Freezing is not recommended for mimosas. For a lighter option, use a dry brut prosecco and reduce sugar in the rim to 1 tablespoon.
